If there is please get back to me and tell me I would really appreciate it I found out how to change the inside images but not the outside! Thanx

On mine the clown only appears when the phone is powering up or powering down. But then mine is a Virgin Mobile phone so it likely uses different firmware than the model used by other providers.
Try going to Menu, Settings (8), Display (2), Sub LCD Setting (4), and choose Analog or Digital clock. Yours might have other options as well, mine only has the two clocks.

That clown is Awful!!! The first thing I did was get rid of it.
Go to the Main Menu, 5, 2, 1, 2 and choose 'Not Use'. This works on the Power off guy too.

No help for us Virgin Mobile Users, that takes us to contacts.

Badera, for us VM users, could you tell what the exact procedure you took for deleting the clown, without the numbers, was?

Menu
5 - Settings
2 - Display
1 - Animation Setting
2 - Power on or 3 - Power off
There is an animation listed as "Not Use"
I found w/ this option on for both, it takes off the clown on poweroff.. but on poweron i still see it.
My 8600 is on bell.
Edit: Wait a sec.. sorry this thread is on the 8600. Maybe thats where the differences in menu orders are...(8600 vs 8500)
