Anyone have an icon for their windows desktop? I'd like to customize my p800 folder with a p800 icon.

There is a bmp available in the Image Editor application available from sonyericsson.com.

rex,

actually, I'm looking for *.ico files like you find at deviantart. thanks for that image tho. wish I knew how to convert that into an icon file. just changing the extension to .ico doesn't work...

This is the best I can do, it has black background, otherwise is fine. Just rename it ot .ico

P800.ico file

Unzip and enjoy..

hehe, thanks guys!

Ya know what? The P800 avatars would make pretty cool looking desktop icons as well! Hehe, I'll try to look up how to make icons. I'm artistically challenged and my photoshop skillz are nonexistent.

The easiest way make an icon is to make BMP file 32x32pix size and to rename it to .ico. That`s all there is...

Yes, can do that, but you won't have the normal icon transparency. Corel PhotoPaint can make traditional icons with transparencies. Photoshop can make transparencies but it's really limited on what file types it can save as.

If I get some time I may just take the forum's avatar and iconize it with transparent background. Actually, I've already done it, but it seems a bit glitchy. When on the desktop, the icon's background is transparent, but it's not transparent in explorer.

There must be some trick to make an icon in every bitmap editor. I know that first pixel in top-left corner is determinated as background color, so if you find a way to make it transparent you`ll get transparent icon...
