Cables to GAGIN A530?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Are Radio Shack data cables for SPH-A500 or A310 compatible with A530? I didn't find on their site the one specific to A530.

In general cables for which other Samsung phones are compatible with A530?

What cables (including drivers) other than Radio Shack can be used to GAGIN A530?

What software (and compatible cables) works best to load Outlook contacts to A530 phonebook?

Thanks!

I know that the A310 cable from radio shack works on A530. My girlfriend uses it.

Use truesync to sync phonebook w/ outlook.

Is it Truesync from Starfish? On their site they talk mostly about enterprise stuff. I didn't find anything about consumer oriented phone sync. Am I missing something?

Thanks!

I couldn't find any info on starfish either. Future Dial has a similiar program called SnapSync though. check out the link

edit:
According to [http://www.futuredial.com/matrix/M_Samsung.htm] the a310 works with this program. Since the a530 uses the a310 cable, I assume the program should work on the a530 also.

Could somebody please confirm that SnapSync will work with A530 at least on phonebook level? It's not just the issue of cable but A530 having same protocol as A310 for exchanging info.

SmithMicro has similar product called QuickLink Mobile Phonebook. They list A530 as supported but don't have a cable. I wonder if RS cable will work. Any experience with QuickLink Phonebook?

Thanks!

The A310 cable works with the A530 like a champ. The SmithMicro phonebook manager also works great. I am using this exact combination.
