hey there, i'm usually over in the lg forum, but i think this question should go here...
i'm trying to (heh this sounds funny, but it'll make more sense) impress a girl i recently met, (i know...) and i was talking to her about free wap..
well, now she wants it... she has a kyocera 2325 i think, on verizon, and i was wondering if there's a service menu that i can get into to change the wap settings, or do i just do it from the wap menu? is free wap using waptunnel or 3am even possible with that phone?
i use the vx4400, and before that had a nokia, so i know nothing about kyocera... any help would be cool.
and by the way, i've done extensive searches in every applicable forum and came up empty, so please don't jump all over me and tell me to search.. ( i do it to other people too, but this time i think this question is warranted.)
thanks again in advance for any ideas

Enter 1 six times and press Options. Go to Browser Setup and select UP Link B. If you're prompted for the security code enter 000000. For Primary IP, enter the IP for the gateway you want to use, then select Next. Then enter the port number under Primary Port. Secondary IP and Secondary Port just leave blank and hit next. Once that's done, you'll be taken back the Browser Setup menu. Exit the programming screen. Then open the browser. Go to setup, select option 4(UP Link) and then change it to UP Link B. You will then be prompted for a homepage to proceed. Enter the homepage and select Ok. That's how I do it and it works fine. Hope this helps.

sweet, thanks man, i appreciate that...
it seems a bit more complicated than on my 4400, but simple enough.. thanks again... who knows, maybe someone else w/ a kyocera might get something outta this too...
we'll see if i get any brownie points for that...

For me it's actually less complicated than doing it on the LG's.

Wirelessly posted (LGE-TM540C/1.0 UP.Browser/4.1.26l)
Yep it just depends on the user of the phone and the model of the phone.
