Was sending a midi file last night, an error occured on the midi sender, the phone recycled its power and then froze up on the "SANYO SCP-5000 Dual" startup screen. Pressing buttons go nowhere. Have to remove the battery to turn it off. Anyone experience this? Anyway I can reset my frozen phone? Thanks.

Oh no, not you too! I had the EXACT same thing happen to me on my SCP-6000. Downloading ringers, send error, restart phone, stuck on "SCP-6000" screen! I had to take it back to Sprint and because it was still within the year warranty, they replaced it the first time, then I did it again, they did it a second time. Then I got smart and traded it in for a 5150. For some reason the 5150 does not lock up. I had a send error and I thought it was going to freeze up again, then before I bashed my phone in with a sledge it rebooted and all was good!!

Brought it to Telus today and yes it's still under warranty. They will be replacing it for me. Too bad they don't have rhe 5150 here in Canada yet! Thanks for the reply!
