why dont you learn how to put them on your phone first before you request them....i mean are you sure that u want mp3 format, seeing as how it wont work on the e105 from my own experience...

what do u guys use to cut mp3's down to make them under 30kb (for a lg vx 6000) its like when i send some of the larger ones to my cell it'll play in the pix message that i send them in but it wont let me save it cuz its too big of a file..

i asked for this awhile back close to the middle of this bigass thread... i agree i would love to seem some, i have a few.. i have the sony ericson default tone and the "YOU HAVE AN INCOMING CALL" in a female voice from a moto phone, its pretty cool.. and loud.

I have this in an *mp3 format. Its say " You have an incoming call". Its the ring from the Moto Phones.

I'm a big fan of the TV series Arrested Development and I'd like to use the theme song as a (polyphonic) ringtone.
Having searched through the internet, I only came up with two versions:
The first one is located at www.midiringtones.com but you have to live in America (which I don't) to get ringtones from the site and the second one from www.the-op.com appears to be converted from .mp3 to .mid and doesn't sound very good.

If anyone had the theme as a .midi, I'd really appreciate a link.

someone said its the sound when using Skype, the InternetPhone service...

Basically, just as the ambulance and police sirens sound 'different' their phones sound different.

If I called England now, and the person on the other end hasn't picked up the hand set (we talking landline) then I'd get that tone I'm talking about, which is different from US phone systems....

Does anyone have the CrazyFrog Ringtone, the second one and Dragon Loves Nessie Ringtones, compatible for the Nokia 3200 ?

I 've found 2 different version so far. One was really good but it was in MP3 format and was to large I think, and the other one sounded really bad and was only 5kb, and really sounded nothing like the one on TV.

Ok heres what ya asked for.

I have the 7000 too so I was able to tweak on them a bit to make them sound the best they can. When you go to upload them thru BitPim, in the conversion box that will pop up, change the Sample Rate to 44100 and the Bitrate to 64. I have found that these settings make the file a little bigger, but the quality of sound is MUCH increased.

Howdy... to be honest, I don't have an LG, I have a Samsung D500, but I've been unable to find a ringer that isn't some fruity musical crap that you can't hear when the phone is in your pocket.

What I'd *really* like is ringtones (polyphonic, I suppose) that sound like actual phones/cell phones ringing. I'm hoping to find one that has vibrating built into the ringer, but I can modify it later if need be (samsung has this stupid vibe+ring thing where the phone vibrates a few times THEN rings, but you can't get both to start at the same time).

But I imagine a good phone ringing tone will help those with LG phones as well, who want a dignified ringer.. so hopefully this isn't too OT!

BTW I have bluetooth so I'd prefer to just download to my computer rather than some kind of WAP download.

Generally when someone asks for help around here it is customary to share a little more information, such as what phone and software you have for example, as well as perhaps including exactly what the error says or even a screenshot if you have that capability available.

With that being said, have you been able to load ANY ringtones using the same software in the past? How about ringtones of the same type you are attempting to load now?

Thanks for all your help everyone. I found out what the problem was. I went into harrythompson.com and went through the comunacation error codes. The ringtones were not set for Nextel. I had to download a dbPowerAmp Music Converter and charge the rate and hz that it was recorded at. Loaded right up. I NOW HAVE CRAZY FROG RINGER

That was a good learning experience. Hope this will help someone else in the future.
