Forget my request I found a copy, However I still woudl liek to have a few SOundFX ringtones. MOre in the line of Wave or MP3's. DOn't want to use the polyphonic RIntone Generator and *.mid sounds unless they sound really good.!!

Nice collection there! Thanks. I found the "Dukes of Hazzard" TV theme song, but couldn't find just the special beep that the car makes. Do you have that? Thanks again.

Edit: Never mind, I found it in the Message Alerts folder. Hopefully after the DVD of the movie is released, someone will be able to make a clean ringtone of that.

Let me first say sorry, I dont have either of these.
BUT...
If you already have the song in mp3 format it is a simple process to chop out the 30 seconds or so that you want for your ringtone. I use Audacity to chop out the clip, make it fade in (sounds better to me if it fades in over the first second or so of the clip rather than just blasting on) and then export it as an mp3. Audacity is a free download.

i dont understand why everytime i have an email forwaded to my 6101 if its an mp3 file it drops the attatchment but midi files go through fine.

all you have to do is rename the extension from .mp3 to .mid....
if you dont see the file extension, go to tools, folder options and select show extension.

ddawg, mine says that whenever I get mail and I love it! A couple months ago a group of us were filling out some paperwork at work and it was all quiet in the room when I got a text message and my phone LOUDLY announced it. We were laughing for a good 10 minutes, I had to replay it like 3 times and send it to a few people after that.

Hey all! you guys are all looking for ringtones and stuff but why not just use bitpim and make smaller clips of songs its pretty easy. I have a lg ux4750 and even though that phone isnt on the list I just used another (lg 4650) from the list and I can do my wallpaper ringtones etc. if anyone wants help let me know and Ill try to walk you through it. I think your phone has to be able to play "real tones" but most of the newer phones do.

mobile17.com people check this out...doesnt work for Samsung 950, or vg lx 8100....but other than that its free....you can do gifs and pics for every phone tho..

I would like to transfer that ringtone to my new cell as I don't like the tones that come with my new cell. So far I could not find it anywhere. Also I could not see it when I browsed through my cell phone with bitpim.

What program did you try to play them with? I can play them with Realplayer and Windows Media Player. You may need to download a plugin to play a .mid file.

what phone and phone company do u have? if its verizon some phones u can email the ringtones as a mp3 attachment and u can go to options in the pix message and save it that way...others you'll have to use bitpim to get them on there

This might or might not help. I have included some of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's tracks in my Christmas mix. You can then take the piece of the mix you're interested (e.g. via GoldWave) and make an MP3 clip out of that. See http://djprince.beowulf7.com for that mix (and others).
