This is a modified version of Ring12 from mhe77. I slowed it down a little bit, inserted silence and lopped it for 22 seconds. Attention OC fans: Please let me know what you think. This is a little different than the previously posted Marissa tone. Sounds like the genuine ringtone from the hit TV show on Fox.

First, 410 posts is hardly a noob.

Secondly, If it is something that you "Desperately" want, I would think you would take a little more effort in finding it yourself, especially since it is very easy to do on the thread. It IS very satisfying to make ringtones that are not already available. It is not something anyone gets paid to do, so the extra time it takes to search 'em, make 'em, and then post 'em is not really something I relish doing, but of course, I only speak for myself here.

Lastly, You are welcome for the enzyte commerical... that was not already posted and was kinda fun and satisfying to provide.

The timing is perfect. I am currently using it on my Samsung D807, and it when it rings, it starts perfectly, and I can actually hear it. Great work, thanks for sharing.

I think it's satisfying. A sincere 'Thank You' is payment enough for me. Just knowing that the ringtone I helped create is being enjoyed everytime their phone rings. . .ahh, it's great.

As a bonus, the person isn't paying $2.50 for a $.17 piece of music. You can buy the whole 3 minute song for $.99, but 30 seconds costs $2.49??? Crazy!

What page? Are you still talking about the Good Times link? I never had any problems with it- when I reposted I just posted the same link that was out there. I just checked it again... and it still works for me. It may have been a temporary glitch you were having. Do you encounter any problems with any of the other links that get posted?

I have searched everywhere and cannot find two ringers.....if someone could make them for me here it be great!

i saw several of the GEIKO commercials listed but the one I am looking for is the "little person" singing about his new taillights and fixed bumper. I manage an auto parts store so that one would be great for when work calls.

The other one isn't anything specific but I want to use it as a ringer for when our security company calls me in the middle of the night......so I am looking for a very loud ringer that either says something about "security alert" "security warning" or "huston we have a problem"

I think you should rethink that answer.......I have no problem finding specific tones using the search function.

Just be sure when searching to click the posts button at the bottom left where it asks you to "show result as" as you can choose the thread option (which will have you searching through every page) or the post option as I suggested and then it will take you to the post. Hope this clears things up for folks who haven't figured this feature out yet.

I don't think it has to be the originator. Here is the definition of "Moderator" located in the FAQ: (Moderators oversee specific forums. They generally have the ability to edit and delete posts, move threads, and perform other manipulations. Becoming a moderator for a specific forum is usually rewarded to users who are particularly helpful and knowledgeable in the subject of the forum they are moderating.)

I have never noticed a posting from a MOD in this thread- not sure if anyone is really monitoring. I do believe that it would be the job of the mod to assign a sticky.

I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THERE SHOULD BE A STICKY ON HOW TO SEARCH THIS THREAD! I just don't think it will be much use..... I don't think that very many people take the time to actually read this thread. They just go to the end... and make a request. Sad, but true!

do your phone have infrared port? you can try that to move the files from pc to your phone.
if your phone does not have it, you may try wap browsing. upload your files to some wap sites, then download it through wap.

here is how to use infrared port.
1. infrared port on the cell phone
The phone's infrared port is quite easy to spot: a dark tear-drop-shaped plastic window on the side. On other phones, the infrared port can be on the top of the phone. On some Nokia phones for example (such as the Nokia 3360), the power on switch IS the infrared port too.
Note: not every phone has infrared port.

2. infrared port on the laptop
The laptop (for example Dell Inspiron) has its infrared port on the right side: a oval-shaped dark plastic window just between the speaker and the round connectors. On other laptops, the infrared port can be at the rear and have different shapes.

3. Place the phone and the laptop so that their infrared ports are in line of sight.

4. select the file from popup window(window OS), and begin transfer.

for the wap download you have to enable the internet capability on your phone.

It should say that you received a pic message. Try to download the file. It is an mms message and that is the only reason it says its a pic. Hope this helps.

Upon further review it looks like this model of phone requires you to use bitpim and a data cable for transfering ringtones and data. I would recomend doing a search in the kyocera thread for further instructions.

It is hilarious that people ask for help with their respective phones and do not even attempt to tell anyone what type of phone it is.....so here is my best guess.

With my experience with bitpim (which has had atleast two upgrades since I last used it) it was only a good idea to delete files only you have added as the other files my be associated with your phones main program files. I would recommend if you need further assistance you search you model of phone in this forum using the search button. I have had much success finding tips and tricks for any and every phone in this forum, you just need to take the time and search. Bitpim is not a toy and if you delete the wrong files you could have yourself a very expensive paper weight.
