The one you are looking for is not dead, someone was also nice enough to direct you to the exact post. I know links will go down but it doesn't hurt to just check the last ten pages of the thread to find signature links and ringtone posts all which are not dead. Its not a perfect system but its what we have. I honestly don't even know what a mod would do with this thread, you see what they did with the wallpaper and screensaver threads.

I am not trying to offend anyone. This is a great resource.
I have searched ( and did prior to my post)and cannot find a live link to hotel california ringtones. I do not see where someone "was kind enough to direct me to the exact post".

I started back on page 427 and went though every post again and didnt find anything.. I understand its not a perfect system, but i do appreciate it. I made an effort to find via search using the "posts" format rather than the "threads" format and get exactly this...

I noticed the volume was set a little low so I raised it a little. Couldn't get it to 64 kbps but I don't think you will even notice.

Can someone with a CU500 pull off the message tone #10 and PM it to me? I loved that noise when I used to have a CU500. Definitely one of the coolest notification sounds of all time and I want to convert it to a more generic format and use it on other phones :-)

I'm only 80% sure that it's message tone #10, it's like a high tech "whoosh" kind of noise. very sci-fi sounding.

Any help obtaining this sound file would be greatly appreciated!

click to listen- once in that screen you will be able to right click and save target as... it will then be able to save to your computer.

I couldn't agree more. Every ringtone I have heard from that site sounds horrible. I think that I would rather use the ringers that come on the phone over those at msnemotions or whatever it is.

Yeah, a AM radio with bad reception. Why go to all that trouble to make the tone and then put it somewhere that will reduce the quality so substantially? Why not just use a 4shared folder? Or put it up on www.myxertones.com .
