i have made several ringtones and placed them online here. There are about 20 ringtones here ranging from tv and movie themes to classic 80's ringtones. the cool thing is, these were made in the course of about 2 hours of work. its really easy to make them, and i will be creating a how-to page on how to do this. this method is different than the method i describe here. that method describes how to make ringtones from recordings (samples) where as the ringtones i am describing in this post are all midi ringtones. the result is better sounding ringtones w/o so much data used to describe them. enjoy!

i have made a few metroid ringtones that i wanted to share w/some of you. if you are younger than say 23 or so, then this game probably doesnt even ring a bell. for those of you who are older, or just cool youngin's, you will really dig these, i believe. i have found some metroid midi files online and converted files i would think would make good ringtones/alerts. here they are:

brinstar theme (theme where the whole game begins)
startup theme (good for alerts)

Hi,

I'm new to the downloading ringtones thing. I've noticed on several of the tones (.mid) I've downloaded, they're not very loud. I turn up the ringer volume on my phone to max, and they're not a whole lot louder but MUCH fuzzier sounding.

Is there any way someone could make this tone louder and post it back? Or can you just tell me how to do it? I've got Anvil Studio, I'm just not sure how to use it.

Hey, I have a LG TM520...Whenever i try to download ringtones outside of my couriers site (Telus Mobility) using wap or any service for that matter, i always get the error messages "406: Not Acceptable" and "Invalid Content Type" i know my phone is compatable with .midi ringtones but nothing seems to work any ideas?

ok, this may be a silly question, but is there any way other than to delete ringers i've downloaded to keep saving sound. it says my media sound is full. ugh! i don't want the ones that were originally on the phone - is there anything i can do?

i have the lg 6000 and the tones that come with it suck. does anyone have a few normal ringtones from, let's say motorola or nokia, cause they have a bunch of normal ones that come standard with the phone. also does anyone have bubba sparkxxx - ugly? thanks in advance?

Yes if you go to user cp at the top of the page then edit options down at the bottom theres an option for subscription. See if its worth paying for (it was for me) and in there you can upload your own avatar.

Now you said nothing about volume so all i did was crop them down. If you need the volume bumped up, you know where to find me.
