It might help if you actually explained what you mean. You posted a message saying "no cracks" - but none of the threads you have removed contained any. Now you have posted a followup that says "no hacks or cracks", but without defining either term.

Also you say "referring to" - do you mean talking about, or posting links? At the moment, most of us are trying to figure out what the rules are by attempting to detect a pattern in the threads that have been removed - with limited success.

So, which of the following are OK:

1) Posting links to phone firmware/language packs
2) Posting links to original (leaked) service software
3) Posting links to third-party service software (unlockers, etc).
4) Posting links to other boards that contain one or more of the above.
5) Posting links to software that you've written yourself
6) Talking about 1
7) Talking about 2
8) Talking about 3

A little input would be appreciated here, since we don't want to wind you guys up, and it's a waste of time writing messages that just end up getting deleted

None of those are okay... number 5 it tolerable provided the software is not an unlocker, etc...

This forum has gotten out of control in regards to some of the information, links posted etc...

Please note that in the end it is Howards neck on the line when it comes to piracy and copywritten material regardless of its nature. These forums are a courtesy to you and if you enjoy the forums respect them and Howard aswell.

Offending posts will be removed and the poster will be issued a warning. Users becoming troublesome in this manner will be banned. Rules like this keep this site out of any trouble so please keep this in mind when posting. Thanks.
