anybody has the same problem with me?! after my phone freeze up due to the bug of entering to the PIN code section, my s40 gets weird.

every time, when i try to use the fast access phone book bottom(the one between Send/Off bottoms), the phone stock for a min or so......just can't responds to what i press. After that, i can't use many functions, such as

1. entering new address--> can't save
2. entering to missed call--> no responds...
.
.
etc.
but the most important thing is,......I CANT RECIEVE calls!!
when ppl called me, my phone didn't RING!!!!!

then, after i turn off the phone, things gets normal......but everything i press down the middle bottom to access into phone book...same thing happen!!!!!!!

plz , who can help! PS. i can't reset ....*#xx# doesn't work on me

Sounds like you need to send it in for a software upgrade my friend. That thing is hosed.

Or maybe check your firmware version and do a reset.

i think my version is older than 2.9 or something that u guys talk about. that's why i can't do reset~~

Call up Siemens customer service for a firmware upgrade.
That should solve your problem.

actually, if you're from the GTA, I think D.S.I. knows someone who can upgrade your firmware for you... but if not, then I guess you have to send it out.
