Just connected my TDK Bluetooth/USB dongle to my desktop. All is going swimmingly. Even managed to get IMAGE EDITOR to work (after some online fishing about).
I do have one tiny issue, however, and I wonder if anyone can confirm it or has fixed it.
When I use Quick Connect from the icon in the system tray -- Bluetooth Serial Port -- (I'm using Windows XP, BTW) the system tray icon "grays out" (actually blues out) and never returns to functionality. After I disconnect the P800, that icon is just dead and right-clicking no longer functions. I have to reboot or stop the process and restart it) to get it back.
When I do the same thing with my T616, I don't have this problem.
Interestingly, if I dbl-click on My Bluetooth Places on the desktop and make the connection from the P800 icon there -- no problem. It's only with Quick Connect.
So I'm wondering if you guys who have both phones (or maybe a T610) could confirm this?
Also, on the P800, even though I have the P800's BT set to "always receive" it still prompts me.
Neither of these are earth shattering. Just wondering. Thanks.
