GAGIN Help!

Someone help me. I'm new to all this stuff and I downloaded GAGIN and then went to run it and keep getting the error msg's:
1)error-could not detect any device on that port.
2)error-could not open specifed port.
Can someone tell me why this is? Is there a way to get this to recognize that I'm missin? PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!!!???????

I'm sure you've already tried it, but did you read page one of the GAGIN FAQ's posted here? There are some tips that address the problem you're having.

which phone are you trying to use gagin with? gagin is really for the T720 but I've used it with the a530 as well. if you are using the 4400, like your profile says, you might want to try Bitpim. A lot of people have had good luck with it and the 4400.
