Hey,

I got this idea for an application but my developer skills are very rusty, specially when it comes to the p800 bluetooth stack which has absolutely no documentation.

someone needs to make a simple app, that just rides in the background, whenever a bt connection is made to a headset (my Bluespoon or whatever you own). it transfers all audio to the headset, iiregardless of what application is generating the audio, a game or mediaplayer/ogg/mp3/alarm/etc.. etc.. its application independent. And ofcourse needs to be interrupted when you receive a call.

Let's get the ball rolling on this one All help and discussion is appreciated.

My two cents,

smartd

Or someone could make an app that only shows your wallpaper (or other stuff like the time, reception or so if you choose that in an options menu) prefably with "screen lock" so you don't call people by mistake.... Something like fullscreen images but then with screen lock

This idea was suggested somewhere in My-Symbian.com UIQ Forum. I believe some developer said, that this application is impossible to make, sinse there are no bluetooth profiles in P900 that allow other audio (games, music, etc...) to be transfered to headphones.

but its workin with my Nokia 6230 now...

I don't know what you exactly mean by "It's working with my Nokia"
Maybe your Nokia phone does support Bluetooth profiles that allow transferring game and music sounds. What I understood from reading My-Symbian.com is that the P900 does not have those Bluetooth profiles.

So what I mean is the Nokia has those profiles to make it work and the P800/P900 doesnt.

Yes; Nokia likes to use Bluetooth Handsfree, or both Bluetooth Headset and Bluetooth Handsfree.

You must use the Bluetooth Handsfree profile to transfer audio of other varieties to the Bluetooth device.

Bluetooth Headset, which the SE P900/P800 use, cannot do this.
