Hello

I'm planning to buy S40 as a gift and I'm planning to get it either from eBay or one of the net sites. The question is..
will buying from any of those places count as an official purchase? I.e. will Siemens recognise the whatever receipt I get from them as a legit thing and upgrade the firmware?
Even if they don't do it for free I'm still willing to pay reasonable price for the upgrade.

u can get a free upgrade by US siemens wherever u bought the phone..

the US siemens is in Texes... call their number.. but i fogot it.. haha..

check it on the web.. =)
