Hi,
I'm currently researching a new phone to buy (right now I don't care about the provider as long as it's one of the big ones in the US).
I don't have a timeframe right now and have been doing some research but I'd like to know if any of you know if such a phone exists right now, or is something that may be coming out soon?
Requirements:
-Must have bluetooth (primarily for headset).
-Must have the ability to connect to PC (via wire, not just bluetooth or IR).
-Must have an address book (more than just phone numbers) syncronization ability with Outlook.
-Must have a calendar syncronization ability with Outlook.
-Must have the ability to see caller-ID info without opening a clamshell if that is the design.
-Like to have the ability to send/recieve email
-Like to have the ability to browse the web
I'd like to stay away from a huge pda-style phone if possible.
Do you know if anything like this exists?

just off the top of my head:
uiq interface:
*sony ericsson p800
series 60 interface:
*nokia 3600 or 3650
*upcoming nokia n-gage (but probably not the phone for you)
*upcoming nokia 6600
*upcoming siemans sx1
however, they're all pretty clunky

Thanks for the reply and info rex-star. I was actually looking at the p800 and Nokia 3650.
I thought the 3650 would only connect with a PC via bluetooth or IR, but not wire (like USB)? Do you know if this is not true? I downloaded the 3650 manual and it wasn't very verbose when it comes to the PC connectivitiy.
Thanks for your info!

you're right, the 3650 will only connect via ir or bt

There are really two options here. RexStar gave you one of them, the phone with PDA functions.
The other option is the PDA with phone functions. There are quite a few of these also, such as:
Samsung SPH i500
Samsung SPH i700
Kyocera 7135
Treo
Palm Tungsten W
However, I agree with RexStar, the are all clunky. Furthermore, few of these PDA phones have Blue Tooth.
If you primarily want a PDA with a phone, you need to accept the width that the screen requires. That makes it rather large. You can only shrink a PDA screen so much before it becomes difficult for the average person to read.
