Is This A Scam??

ok, I was just offered the SL55 for $200 each if I buy two. He says he'll pay for shipping, sounds fishy right.

The good,
-He has over 200 postive feedbacks on ebay, but all as buyer
-He gave me all of his contact information (name, address, etc)
-And he Called me from Italy (so I have his number)

The bad,
-He wants the money western union only
-He's from Italy

Can someone give an example of an SL55's serial number so I can test it against his numbers. (or any other important #'s)

Please guys I need your help and advice!!!

My guess? It's a scam...

Too good to be true? Western Union money order (preferred way of scamming overseas)
European address?

Sounds too fishy to be true. I once did a deal like this for a T68i from Russia. I know i know, stupid, but i was yound and ignorant. And i ended up losing $250.
My guy even had 4 positive feedbacks from selling high end phones too.
Called the number that he called me from, no one ever answered and the number was dead within 2 weeks.

So be warned. If you have good feedback, see if he'll send a phone first (i wish).

Or, do the local pickup test. Say you have relatives in Italy on vacation and they're willing to pick it up on the spot.

you could always suggest using Escrow. Not always easiest, but one of the few sure ways neither of you get ripped off.

Sounds WAY to good to be true, sorry bud, Having refurals is good but how dependable are the refurals, U never know, Those italians can be tricky

100% Scam for sure.

Wanting to be paid by Western Union only is a huge warning sign. Once you pay someone by Western Union, you have NO recourse in getting your money back.....the money is gone.

Don't take a chance.....unless you want to learn a $400 lesson.
