does anybody know how to remove that logo? what would i use? just a razor to scrape it off or acetone or some chemical to wear it away? thanks, ifi you did it could you post a picture or something to show me how? thanks

Acetone would work best, and you'll probably be best off to just place the entire phone itself into a pool of acetone for best results.

Was curious if anyone got the logo off without trashin the front panel?

Posted by: ratbird

put a sticker on it? or scrape it off

Posted by: zillasfreak

Thanks for the tip, but I was more hoping along the lines of getting it off the panel all together without having to cover it up so the front panel was just silver. As far as scrapin it off, someone else had posted that trashed the phone and scratched it all up. I guess im let with gettin a neo cover.... Oh well....

Neo cover? What's that? Any pics?

Posted by: Whoever

I don't think that this is the right Neo Cover....

Posted by: ratbird

HAAAA HAHAaa yeah i think it is! lol

Posted by: JEDEN

I just stuck a "designed for windows" badge on it

Well I was looking on ebay for cases and came across this Neophrene case, but then I realized it was a sandwich case and not a flip.... This phone is starting to get frustrating with it's lack of capabilities for coolness when it comes to upgrades on flips and cases and ringtones and covers... But still.. Im happy with it... and ya... I think I will pass on the seat... LOL

I put a piece of reflective blue vinyl over the area with the VM print...It fills the whole area inside the crome piece and around the screen...looks pretty good.

Posted by: zillasfreak

any pics of this handy work you speak of?

Posted by: zillasfreak

Just an update for those who have not tried, I got brave tonight and took straight acetone to the VM logo and it didn't do a thing.... Frustrating, but now I know --- and I'm happy that it didn't screw up the finish on the flip!

I tried the same thing, along with laquer thinner, goo gone. I have yet to try an actual paint remover or oven cleaner.

Just an update of my days handy work. after taking forever to choose a color of vinyl, (obviously I chose pink and silver) I spent the day trying to work the blade.... Stay away from the coffee for this one. Pretty happy with the result. Im thinkin the center silver panel where the VM logo once was could use a little something to break it up. All in all.. Im pleased with my skill. After all this was done.... The antena ended up with pink vinyl on it as well... will post that picture later..... I can already tell from all the color choices that I will be back to the specialty shop pickin up more vinyl and changin the colors before too long.... The cost of the days events... 3 bucks for a foot of the pink vinyl (plenty for all the times it's gonna take you to get it right), and the silver was free from the guys scrap pile... Not too bad...... Screw VM and there non face plate sellin selves!
