More NYC blackout issues - S55

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I've had my S55 for several months now and I love it. My original cell carrier was Voicestream. T-Mobile took over buy my display still read VSTREAM. A few months ago, I changed the display logo to support my favorite Formula 1 team, Williams-BMW. (JPM, WDC-2003).

Until the blackout, it proudly displayed. After the blackout, my display reads T-Mobile. The bmp is still selected and appears when I enter the setup menu but that's it.

Any ideas on what's going on?

tia,
Jesse

You need to change it to a Kimi Räikkönen logo!

try deleting the bmw image and default the display to nothing. Then upload the image again to your phone select the bmw image again as your logo picture

was your phone originially from tmobile/VS?? it could be possible that they block certain settings on your phone so that it has to display the carrier logo no matter what.

I believe that T-Mo does not carry the S55.... Most people here (myself included) bought theirs from Expansys.

Well as you might have guessed, T-Mobile was useless. However I did find a color scheme that removes the T-Mobile Logo from my display and screensaver at www.siemens-world.de called blau_nohome.col

Thanks guys and gals.
