Security error: key not recognized!

how can i load my ringtones or go into vigin extras if it says that everytime i try i've tried everything trying to make a new key,verifying the key, taking the battery out(?), talking to virgin mobile (under investigation) and nothing seems to work what would erase if i reset my phone? anyway what should i do about the error?!?

Same thing happened to me. It only happened when I first registered the phone but after a little less than a week it started to let me in. Not like you're missing much anyways--it's easier just to go to their website so you can see all the ringtones, not just the rap ones that they always have listen on the phone. I don't use any of the other VirginXtras either because they really aren't worth it. I got my phone to use it, not to read pop info on the go.

yeah, if you just wait eventually it will work...when you first start it up don't rush anything

Mine stopped doing that when I was playing around with the menus and went to Top-Up under the Balance menu... Maybe the same will work for you.
