Hi i just bought a gu87 a few days ago and am still new with the phone. Can somebody help me out? I have a rogers AT&T account and want to set my phones browser to work w rogers. When i click the m mode button it says reception failed (probably cuz the browser is still set to AT&T wireless). Can somebody help me fix this?? thanks!!!!!!!!!

(i think what im lookin for is the Wap settings... sorry for being so noob

i click browser it goes to connection failed right away
then retry and nothing

Is the browser unlocked ? I had a similar problem before too .. had to run crack 2D then reset everything , it worked right after.

how do i check if the browser is unlocked? i am not sure cuz i just bought the phone from a previous owner couple days ago... the phone IS unlocked not sure abt the browser

i have the same exact problem with my phone and it's also from rogers. panasonic messed up on some of the models and the phone needs to be reflashed.. i sent in mine for "repair", even though it was less than 2 weeks old. hopefully when i get it back it should be workin fine.
u have the option to buy the data cable and reflash the phone yourself... but i thought it was a lil risky and since i have a warranty on the phone, might as well take advantage of it.. eh?

i got the same problem... but it was working at first. then it came to "reception failed" from then one day and never be able to connect back.
i flashed my phone and it works again.

ok i got my data cable... is this memory erase thing pretty straight forward? do i need to unlock the eeprom before i can do the erase?
