Hi-
I just bought this & already I have Q's :-)

I dont know if this is a glitch in this phone or I'm just dense!

trying to add #'s to the contacts.
no problem adding them ..except they all go to the etc groups?
WHY? - there is no option (that I can find) to put them in selected groups..friends/family.

When I go to edit contacts.
I can change everything BUT the group.

Not a big deal pulling them from etc.
Just seems pointless to have the other groups as an option if I cant get anything IN THERE!

I've read the manual & asked my geeky buds....but I'm stuck

Any info/help is greatly appreciated.
or Is this a glitch in the vox?

You just hilite the contact field and use the left and right arrows to change the catagory

I know how to find them.
but in edit contacts- add new entry-after you add all the #'s the ONLY 'group' option is etc;.. there is no edit for that section..like the others have.

There is no option (edit) to get them in the friends/family groups..

NO PROBLEM SO FAR!

STILL NO PROBLEMS!

THIS Option does NOT show up??? Is this a bug in the phone..why Am I not getting this option.???

When you are editing the contact Go to where you can change the name. From there press Up on the key pad once where you can change the group from Etc. to what you want.

1. Bring up the entry you want to change the group for, as if you were going to change it.
2. Use the up/down arrows to scroll to the group, so it's highlighted.
3. Use the left/right arrows to change the group.
4. Hit OK to store.

You can do the same thing when adding a new entry. Go to the group line, then use the left/right arrows to scroll through the choices.
