I have Successfully modified a nokia battery for a member on the howard chui boards. A high Capacity 900 mah thin Li-Ion cell into an 8860 Battery. The result is greater talk time, longer standby, and no memory effect.
This battery provides greater talk times than the original 8860 battery, and is designed to work with a modified board and housing combination.
I am currently experimenting with different batterys to find out how to make smaller batteries for older phones. If anyone has any ideas for me to try, PM me.
