Hello everyone,
first, I'd like to say hi, I just purchased my first siemens phone in a long time. The S56, pretty nifty!!! So I'm sure I will be browsing this forum more often now.

Now down to business. I suppose this is to most of the Tmobile folks that own a siemens, which Im pretty sure that there arent many, but maybe some others can give me any ideas on if you've had similar problems.

I have been having two problems on my new s56. First I have been unable to send or recieve MMS. Second, and the more important of the two to me, I have been unable to get CSD to work. I have been inputting the current settings that I use on my nokia 3595, and I can connect to the internet via GPRS, but every time Ive tried to connect via CSD I get "connection error". It dials and thats it.

My settings I have entered that work on my 3595:
For Gprs
IP address- 216.155.165.050
(I didnt write homepage, bearer, etc, because its pretty basic and redundant IMO, )

For CSD
The IP address-10.168.200.50

i believe that this is the reason that I may not be able to connect. The 3595 takes that address, the 56 wont, it wants me to add like a 0 in front of the 10 and an extra 0 on the end.
The 56 also doesnt have a setting to choose whether the connection is either gsm or gprs like my 3595.

The IP address for mms im using is
216.155.165.50

like I said, all of these settings seem to work on my T300 and my 3595. I was able to get on tzones via gprs. so it isnt browser locked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
