us cellular 8500 users???

I just bought a 8500 from US Cellular. I was really excited about the phone, but when I got it home and started playing around with it, I wasn't really impressed. For the amount that I paid for it and all the features that the manual says it can do, few of which I can even find specific info about (mainly how to use it with my computer) it seems that the only positive thing about it is it's size. Am I missing something?!?

They sell cool phones but there services hardly ever allow you to use all of the phones functions...I have CellOne in my area and the signal is great all over and in the 5 states surrounding but I can't do a whole lot but play the same game and use it for calls...they shut off most of the features because they aren't setup for it...I wish they would upgrade service around here...I am thinking about switching to virgin moble...dunno, have to wait and see.
