Tried to send via BLuetooth but says "File Transfer Service Not Found On Device"
Any help???

The carriers offering the S56 have decided to disable the file transfer function, due to copyright issues. Too many people have been bootlegging ringtones and applets, so the carriers limit their liability, and help increase their sales, by disabling that function. If I had known then what I know now, I would have gotten the phone from a different place, so I could have control over the equipment I paid for.

I have sent .gif and .bmp files to it along with a schems .col file using IrDA. That works fine. I then changed the startup and shutdown anaimation along with a new color scheme.

I got it working. I just downloaded the NEW 1.4 BTW Widcomm Bluetooth Drivers. Now I right click on the file and choose (Send to Phone) Got the file here: http://www.pctrends.com.ph/support_drivers.asp

FWIW, Apple's Bluetooth File Exchange works great - it gives a small error message that says something like "the phone says it wont accept files of type X, Try anyway?" When you try anyway, it goes through just fine.
Works for ring tones, graphics, everything I've tried.
