8390: Warning on AfterMarket Faceplates
(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

My friend got an aftermarket faceplate and while installing, it broke off the plastic nubs for the volume controls. The faceplate itself had nubs sticking out which tore off the volume buttongs. The original faceplate doesn't have anything protruding.
BTW, where can you get genuine Nokia 8390 faceplates?

(2) Auction: eBay (~USD$20 + S&H)
(3) Stores: Rogers AT&T(?), The Telephone Booth, & those cell phone accessories stores in Chinese shopping malls.

I'm the friend that got his volume buttons broken off by a crappy aftermarket faceplace. Before you buy an aftermarket faceplace make sure that the volume buttons on the faceplace do not have little nibs sticking out of them!! take a look at this picture.
