Depends on your provider. It is often possible to send SMS as eMails and to receive eMails as SMS. Ask your provider.

As I said before: it is possible via SMS. The email address is usually entered as the first line of text. The message center number is stored on your SIM. Ask your provider.

My question is How can I send email from my phone (S40)? I already know I can send it through with nokia but on an S40..?

Since there is a standardized way I don't believe there's a difference between Nokia and Siemens. Did you ever try it on a S40?

I don't think it matters what phone you're using. Like Frank said, each carrier has it's own format that can be used on any phone that works on their network. Voicestream for example takes on the format:

email@address.com <subject if any> #body of message

Then send to 500 or 5000.

I email to my wife's phone frequently, here's the format for cingular in So. Cal...

1(your phone number)@pacbellpcs.net

###########@pacbellpcs.net

I tested it today for cingular in LA.

I typed in the

<regular_email_address> <message>

I then sent it to:

121

area code then phone number@mobil.mycingular.com, it works too.
