Hey guys, I just bought the sanyo 8100 after having a 4900 for about 6 months. (guess I just wanted one with a camera

. With the 4900 I had to go in twice for software upgrades. The version on the 8100 is 1.114sp. I would like to know if that is the latest version.

Preferred Roaming List

When they put up a new tower somewhere they update the list.
Version 18 is the newest the East Coast people need where as 20 may help some of the people on the Western Coast.

Phone Info -> Version -> PRL and it'll be a number like this 100XX.

if you wanna update the prl, just call *2 and ask for a prl update...they'll flag your account, you hawng up and call *2 again and they'll do it over the air.

Only the PRL can be upgraded over the air. The RDF profile(software) must be done in a full service PCS store.
