Depends on firmware you have, etc..

All languages packs contain English, but you can get language pack for your specific firmware and upload.

Is your phone EEprom locked, sim locked etc?

I have GD88, A53 firmware, no camera sound, no operator logo, switched to Infusio game, language pack updated to English, & Chinese Display and Input.

The A39 Lanauge pack works with the A53 firmware , that's what I did to mine.

But I think it is best to have the same firmware for both language pack and the main firmware.
