Setting time on Vox8600?

I just got this phone yesterday, and I have to say, the manual doesn't really help much.. it explains how to set things up (vaguely), but not really how to use them. BUT, the main problem I'm having right now is that I can't figure out how to set the time/date/day on the thing like it's pictured on the box it came in. I THINK it may gave something to do with the World Time under settings, but when you select that option, all I get is an error that say "There is no time inform!".
The only thing I can think of that might possibly be causing this, is the fact that the provider I'm using here in Kansas (cellular one) isn't going to be actually using a cdma network until sometime Monday and the phone currently is only pulling in an analogue signal. Does the phone need to be pulling in a digital signal in order to set the time?

Could be.. My 8500 set the time all by itself.

Weird thing just happened... they must be getting the system up and going already (or trying to), the time/date was all of the sudden displaying by itself and it was showing a digital signal... then it went away not too long afterwards.. so I guess that answers my question. Never mind..... Still a cool phone.

Sounds like they are testing your system and tweaking it for CDMA. You need a cdma signal in order to automatically set the time on your phone. Sometimes CDMA phones will have an option to "set time by network" or "set time manually".. Just hang in there until Monday and it will all be good
