MFM after created, wont play on the phone

I am trying to make some MFM's from human voices, and after uploading it to the phone, it doesnt play, or plays only the first 1-2 seconds. Has anybody had the same problem, and knows the solution? First I start from a WMA (Windows media audio) file, as my voices are stored in wma's, and i convert it to wav, after that I change the format to 8000hz mono 16bit, and I use the Wav2mfm software to create the mfm file. Everything seems fine, I upload it to the phone, and it just wont do the right thing. Can anybody help?

I have had this happen. Sometimes, it is the length of the sound. Othertimes, after playing with the volume, and repasting into a new 8000khz file, it has worked.

If you send me the file, I will see if I can fix it. I have created hundreds of these mfm tones from all sorts of sounds.

oh, and be sure to register! But he is correct. There are strange issues in the MFM convertor....but it is free and it was hacked....and X70 will play the raw wave file! Chris' suggestions are valid in this case.

Thanks guys. i will send you the file if you really dont mind. Give me your email address please. I have MFM tones, but I would like to make a VOICE into a ringtone. Kind of personal memory. I am really looking forward on getting the X70.

Lost Rebel pleased to hear that X70 will play WAV. However this is this first time I've heard this.

As you've been correct about things in the past I'm inclined to think it's true. Just wondering where you got this particular bit of info from?

Yo lost_rebel, what is up? I dont care about people registering, or the stupid yahoo group. As I said before, I was only using because of the FREE WEB SPACE. If I had space I would post a website.

However, I dont, and so it is on a dumb yahoo group.

Sorry_ for trying to save a lot of people time, and hassle looking all over for files, midi tones, firmware, links etc. I thought maybe some people might appreciate using links, and files that have been tested and proven.......

Also, I tryed posting some new, and different stuff, others havent got...

And trying to keep it updated with new files, daily.....unlike some sites, with the same old boring tones etc, which are rarely updated....

So, if you have a solution or are willing to offer space like Bence8810....then do so...

Or, tell me direct, what the problem with my effort is??

Or shall I get rid of the site entirely?

Did lost_rebel say something that offend you? Sounds like he's only reminding people to register in order to access the files in the yahoo groups

I have fixed that MFM file for Bence8810, but if anyone else has problems with MFM stuff, I may be able to help. Let me know if ya do....
