Hi, i am looking to buy a new Siemens S40 and i am wondered which firmware should i get. I am planning to use it on Fido's network in Canada. For those that are using the S40 in Canada, how is the performance of the handset? Thanks

I would think the most logical answer would be, 'the latest version you can get'. Why would you knowingly go for an earlier version when more fixes are available in the newest firmware? And it's not like Siemes will let you pick and choose. (Unless you get someone to do it for you who has a selection of versions.)

But what is the latest version out there? 7.0 or 3.2 for canada? Which one work best?

Latest version in Canada I hear is 7.0 (anyone confirm?). But 8.0, 9.0(?) is available else where. Which works best? I don't know but I would assume the newest one would.
