wuts that ? they bridged the resistors to make it look like that? and how do u bridge?

if i'm not wrong the picture u have up there is a unbridge fone... a bridge fone would be SUPER BRIGHT like a flashlight and not fade in the middle like the pic above...and about the brigding...i'm no expert at it but i think when u get ur LED's install them usually do it for u specially if u have 3360 and 3390. it increase the voltage use for the LED hence make it brighter

I think I can shed a little light on this (pun intended )...

I am the person who installed LEDs in that very same phone in the picture you have there. I also took the picture and put it up on the net. That picture has been copied a bizillion times and is now on numerous LED sites and countless auctions. Here is the original (slightly altered to prevent further copying) Click to see.

The phone is unbridged. We were testing several brands of white 1206 LEDs. Those ones were a little dim, as the ones we use now are somewhat brighter.

Some people do prefer the fade effect to a pure even glow. You just have to use dimmer LEDs without bridging to acheive the same effect. Good luck!

thats NiCE! i want that effect..and i bought some new leds off ebay..i hope they turn out like that. if not then..damn! im not gunna bridge my leds. cauze i dont know how...maybe i will if these leds dont turn out good. im installing these bymyself.. any do's and dont's?

about bridging...today, i just changed the LEDs in my 3390 to blue all by myself (im so proud). the keypad lights up pretty good-i just have the nokia regular buttons-but the screen is not so bright and kind of hard to see even in the dark. should i bridge them? im guessing so but what kind and what gauge wire do i use?

i believe for the 3390 only 3 leds on the bottom light up on LCD right? i think brdging is a must on 3390if u want it brighter than stock one...
