alright... I'm new to this thing... and I already installed the essentials to get started. I don't know if i did anythign wrong, but i can't get connected to webjal. I installed my usb modem, I installed the patch for webjal, and i installed webjal. I get as far as logging in. I used to download rings off a friend's computer and i noticed that under preferences, he had alot more then just 2 com ports. I only have 2, although I have more then 2 usb connections. But when i try to connect, it says the application was unable to read required phone information, please check your cable connection. I already tried both ports under every baud rate and it still doesn't work. I have no idea whats wrong. And i searched all over the site for a answer. If anyone knows how to fix this, your help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

Try this:

1. Restarting computer
2. Start Webjal up
3. Close all Java apps and reset Java system
4. Try connecting again

i started having the same problem after months of perfect use of webjal and someone told me to turn off my styles and i did and it worked. dont ask me how or why it worked cause your guess is as good as mine, either way it works now, try it

Its funny, I think Webjal has a mind of its own. I tried to get on one day and it didnt work, and then I tried it the next day and it worked flawlessly. Here's the best advice **Keep trying it**

i bought the camera at the end of august i cant get that to work, i have 04 firmware.

ive been trying webjal for about 3 weeks now, no progress. im going to try the styles trick and the reset java system, these are the only 2 things i havent done.
