What are the options with the s56 for non-polyphonic ring tones? My sister has a SE T306 which does polyphonic, but it also has a composer built in to enter ringtones, which sound more like the tones on my old nokia 3360. I tried sending a tone from the T306 to my phone and it showed up as a .imy file, or something like that, and the s56 didn't know what that was.

I like the polyphonic sound, but the rings simply are not as loud as the old monophonic ringtones my nokia used.

Can I get tones like that for the s56? I'm not looking for non-musical tones... just louder.

It's been posted before--- just use a tool like anvil studio or psm player to increase the volume on your .mmf and midi files. I have used both of those to increase the volume on all my standard and musical ringers. Works great.
