I picked up a few Sanyo phones knowing that did not work properly. I assumed that the would be under warranty.

I have sent in many Nokia phones over the years for Warranty work. It couldn't be more simple. Send the phone to Nokia with a post it note explaining the problem. I usually get the phone back within a week. I send all my nokias to Entronix in Minneapolis.

From what I am being told Sanyo warranty work is preformed by Sprint PCS exclusively. I do not have service with Sprint so they will not work on the phones. They also said that once the phones are transferred from the original purchaser the warranty is null and void.

Has anyone found away around this?? Have anyone gotten their phone fixed by Sanyo? Thanks
