would my phonebook be still there if i flash the gd-88?

i just want to use tat cam no sound thing, so do i have to flash my phone? cuz i dunt wanna lose my whole fone book (i didnt save on sim card), as well as the pictures and ring tone.

you're phone book will be erased, but you should backup it before, maybe with Edit Tool or with CB2000.

Flashing by itself does not erase the mobile phone book. However, depending on what firmware you have and what firmware you are flashing to, you may need to send a function clear which will erase it. Would need more info on what you are planning on flashing from and to in order to asses your situation.
