Hello before I get flamed I did use the search but all the links were dead. My phone will not stay on after doing some changes and I need to reload does any one have the 95clMaintenanceReleaseUtilityR010000.exe or know a good link were I can find it? Thanx for the help!

Have you learned the importance of making backup images of your phone in iDEN Update as well as Codeplug Backups in RSS?

Well, you have now.

If you did make a backup of your phone in iDEN Update, Hold the two softkeys down while powering up the handset. This will put it into flashtrap mode. you can then reload the backup from iDEN Update. If you're getting a corrupt codeplug message, power on the phone using the same method and use RSS to reload the backup codeplug.

If not, the maintainance release utility should do the trick assuming you're not running the new codeplug version that comes with .04. I'm not positive, but I don't believe the MRU will work on the new CP format... don't hold me to that though.

I have a back up from another i95, but because of the diffrent esn in the back up file it wont load. Is there a way i can change the esn in the back up file?

I found the mru and it says that the back up code plug cannot be found what should I do now?

did you back up the codeplug (I hope so) try writing that to the phone then the write the cuu to the phone

You cannot load the backup from another phone into yours.

What software version did you have on the phone that died? What codeplug version?

Exactly what were you doing when you killed it?

I was loading a wall paper which i also just found out was the wrong size. The phone was 2 days old and had the latest software not sure of the ver. numbers as i cant turn on my phone to find out. Do you think motorola can fix this?

Chances are if it's a brand new phone is has the newest codeplug and .04 firmware. If that's the case I don't think the MRU will work for you.

Have you tried pulling the battery for a bit, reinstalling it and checking to see if the phone will power on?

Were you using Webjal to load the paper?

In any case, you may end up having to bring it back to Nextel. If you do, I wouldn't even bother telling them you were trying to load any papers or anything. I'd just say that it stopped working. If it's new enough they should replace it with a new one if they can't fix it.

Well after fighting with the tech @ nextel I spoke with motorola and told them it was there disk that came with the usb cable that I was loading from.So they said the would fix it and fedex just picked it up. Thank you all for your help! you guys are all great!
