How many hours do I need to charge a brand new Sl56 for?

I just bought a brand new Siemens Sl56 unlocked phone. The dealer told me to charge the phone for 2 hours before I use it. Is this accurate or do I need to charge it for longer?

Charge it until your phone doesn't display that it's being charged any longer. The SL56 charges very quickly.
