Hi, I bought a used S56 (cingular version) and i'm trying to set it up. Does anybody know what the default pin and phonecode are?

The default pin codes are (for Cingular network)

PIN: 1111
PIN2: 2222

Now what I want to find out is how to unblock the phone in order to use in different countries. I called Cingular and heard that they no longer do this and if I decide to use my phone somewhere else I MUST pay 2.49 USD / minute just for roaming, which is just ridiculus............

If anyone know how to do this, please let me know.

Ummm, you can't use an S56 in europe at least, it's only an 850/1900 phone, you need 900/1800 in Europe... but gsmphonesource (iirc, it's the one in vegas, look in the marketplace) unlocks siemens phones for $20 + shipping (both ways)
