hi every1, im sorry if this question has been asked already but...
today i bought a GD87 handset on sim free. i am using my previous O2 sim card with the phone. everything is working fine except i cannot send/receive MMS and i cannot connect to WAP...all i get is 'connection failed'.
I have been in contact with O2 and they say MMS should be active in the next 24 hours but i have a friend with the same phone on the same network who says that he has yet to get MMS working after 6 months with the phone!
does MMS/wap work on the GD87 with an o2 sim card, if it does can anyone help me to sort it out??

Listen bud, I work for O2 retail, and I've used a GD87 for GPRS and MMS - it does work. The thing you've got to take into consideration is that MMS & GPRS settings need to be set up on the phone, they're not on the SIM, so unless you put them in yourself they ain't gonna be there (since it was SIM-free).
