hi guys,
wondering if you could help me. i have had my gd87 for 3 days and i have yet to notice the point of the sub lcd, other than the facT it glows green/orange every so often when doing something. on the pictures i have seen there are icons etc on the sub lcd screen so i was wondering if i have not got it turned on or is it really as pointless as it seems? PLEASE HELP!

When a call comes in, you can have 3 different colors light up depending on how you group your contacts (i.e. Glows green for friends, blue for business contacts etc)

Press the button below the Sub-LCD. This toggles the time and date showing on the Sub-LCD.

It also allows you to see the icons.

Not extremelt useful, but it does some things.

when i press the button below the sub lcd, all it does is glow blue...how do i get time/date on there??

Have you looked at a manual at all?!

Go to the Tools and Set Time Menu>>>Select "Set Time/Alarms">>>> Set the time in the "Set Date/Time" menu and pick a format in the "Format Date/Time" menu"

Once you are in those menus its self explanatory....for most primates.

maybe it is me being really stoopid but i dont have a set date/time menu and if i do change the clock format it is still only displayed on the Main Phone screen and not on the lcd.

help someone!
i have set the time and it is displayed on my wallpaper but not on my LCD
