Help With My LG 6000 Phone!

I just received FutureDial's 1200 cable for use of connecting my lx6000 phone to the internet through my computer. I did not realize the cable did not come with the software to actually connect to the internet. Where can I find cheap enough software to connect my phone online? I already spent $30 on the cable. Will the software that comes with all of verizon's connectivity kits work with my phone and cable? Also, I have windows xp, and, although my computer recognized a usb connection when I connected my phone to my computer via the cable, I do not think my computer recognized the actual phone. use the search, search for things like... verizon dialer... setting up express network, etc.
