M55C Firmware update

Just downloaded the Firmware update from my-siemens.com, phone connected via USB, no problems with connection. Shortly after I try the firmware update, I get a message that it cannot be updated, because of a wrong SW version.

Is it possible that the M55 update is NOT intended for M55C (chinese version)? Or does that version already include the enhancements provided in this firmware update?
Anyone having same issues?

i have the same problem too.
when you open the patch program, you can see on the title bar that the firmware update is for M55/M55C so no doubt it's for M55C too

That's odd that the patch program says M55C as well... because it won't work with the M55C. The M55C has language pack 8, and the patch is meant for language pack 1 (the regular M55) only.

Tons of people at club-siemens.net found this out when they couldn't patch their M55C either.

So we have to wait, because our M55C doesn't need/can't be upgraded right now.
