help? SE Service screwed up my phone

Well the screen went out on my p800 so i sent it into SE to get it fixed, well today i get it back and the jog dial isn't working sorta, the scrolling up and down is not funtional, the foward backward and select is working just fine. I am so mad right now, it worked when i sent it in, what do i do?

oh man, i hope they don't screw up my phone

in general, does SE treat the condition of your phone good, they don't scratch it up or anything

and when they flash firmware,if you ask for it, will they put back on "UK English" if you request it?

and finally, how long did they take with you?

The phoen came back in perfect condition, and was flashed to the most current firmware, and it comes back in UK English and it took 8 business days from the day they recieved it to the day i recieved it. And i'm on teh phoen now with SE to see whats going to happen next.

good i'm hoping to recieve my phones back soon also. Both my P800 and my T68i craped out

well now i'm really pissed off. SE wants me to resend my phone in and be without it again for another week and half, and all they could say was "were sorry" and the even want me to pay shipping to send it back...... i am so angry that i faxed them an angry letter demanding that they send me a new unit. All thats not working is the up/down function of the jog dial..... but its the principal of the matter. Anyone interested in purchasing the unit as is with the business kit can for 400.00 USD. Or does anyone else have a better idea? Help?

Thats the area that escalates the complaint, email them, they respond within 24-48 hrs. I contacted them and they sent me a new one to replace it.

Have you considered opening the phone and checking it out yourself? If your'e interested there's videos out on the net on how to do it.

well to make matters worse, the screen they supposidly fixed.... is now not working again. So not only did they break my jog dial they didn't even fix what was wrong in the first place. I am so pissed off and when i called today they said that since it's sunday they can't help me. so i need to call back when its more convienent for them (thats what teh cc rep at SE said) this 2nd p800 has been nothing but a nightmare...... i love my t68i and would love the t610 but will not buy one because of this fiasco..... be ware....

sorry to hear that jeffro01. I recieved my P800 back from SE on friday and so far,it's working beautifully. Screen cleaned and phone fixed. Crossing my fingers nothing happens

it would'nt turn on at startup. it would just keep on giving me that "10 second" flashing message
