so those 722 faceplates have a window in them and not just a blank? That's what I've been looking for.

so far i've been using a flathead screwdriver to carefully pry the oval up. might start heating up the adhesive first though. hope that helps!

It comes off w/ a flathead screwdriver. I converted the front of my T720 to the new T730. When I scratched the T730 oval lens (I dropped it, luckily I bought 3 of them) I just pried it off and put on a new one. GOOD LUCK! Always keep a couple of X-tra lenses on hand, because you never know when you will scratch it!

Where can I get just the lens to the t730? I scratched min in the conversion of my t722i... long story, very stupid. Thanks all for your help!

You can only buy the lens from a dealer that sells Motorola parts. Motorola doesn't sell the product to anyone but dealers. I picked my 3 up from Phones Plus here in omaha for the T730 for $7.50 ea. If you need the part for the T722 you're in luck because I have the part # for it (PART# 6187718NO1) Hopefully that helps. Good luck!!!!

That does help a lot... THANK YOU!!!!

Anytime!!!!!!!!!.................... FYI the part # was for the Black insert (lens) for the T-722. I don't have the part # for the lens on the T-730 sorry.

Try warming it with a hair dryer. Don't get it too hot.
Really strong adhesive.
