Changing my 8260 LEDs

If I change my LEDs without bridging my 8260, will it be pretty dim? Some services like nokialight.com say that you don't have to bridge their stuff, but I was wondering what opinions are out there? I was thinking of changing to all hyper-white so the screen looks like the 8890 - do I have to bridge it?

I think know that depending on what type of LEDs they are the quality will vary... So better quality ones will not require bridging (I think)... I had very cheap LEDs that weren't bridged and they look very dull (they're white with a hint of blue)...

So to answer your question, find out if the LEDs you are ordering are of the best quality, if not, consider bridging... Also try Nokiadeal.com they sell LEDs for very cheap price...

Well, good quality (read bright) LED's often don't require bridging as they're going to be brighter than stock anyways. However, really, all lights can benefit by bridging, including the one's that say that they don't require it. After all, if you buy a car with an 8-cylinder engine, wouldn't you want to run on all 8 cylinders? If someone says that a phone doesn't need bridging, either they don't have the info to do it, or the phone just isn't bridgeable and I wish they'd just say it. There's no mystique to this sort of thing.

Anything that comes through *here* get's bridged wherever possibe, though certain phones are much easier to do than others, and some really can't be bridged - that's where the bright LED's pay off the most.
