Screen Saver Question

Sorry if this has been asked/answered but I can't seem to find anything on it.
Is there a way to enable the p800's screen saver to stay all the time (until the flip is opened or the screen touched?) I like the new clock screen saver application but it seems kind of pointless since my screen saver only stays on for a minute or so and then the screen goes blank.
If there is a way to keep it on all the time, does this have a substantial effect on battery life?

I beleive I found the answer to my first question...
Does the screen saver stay on when the "power save" feature is set to "off"?
Does this kill the battery very fast?
